The Digital Hardman Directory is Now Live on Virtual Campus!

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new Digital Hardman Directory on Virtual Campus for services and funding. We think it will make a big difference for you. If you’re looking for help and resources, the Hardman Directory is the place to go. Here’s what’s new and improved.

Whether you’re searching for a service or information about funding, the Digital Hardman Directory is now much simpler to navigate.

You can now access the Digital Hardman Directory directly on Virtual Campus, which makes finding the help and support you need even more convenient.

Our search feature now gives you results that are more relevant to what you’re looking for. This means you can find services and funding options whilst you’re in prison and when you reintegrate into the community.

In today’s world, most people start looking for help online. We’re excited for you to try out the Digital Hardman Directory on Virtual Campus and see these changes for yourself. 

To help create the Digital Directory, we have partnered with Meganexus, the leading provider of rehabilitative software services in the UK. Their services have been supporting rehabilitation in prisons and probation for over 15 years.

We want to know how you find our new service, so please share your thoughts as you explore it, as it helps us with future developments.

Our new, updated paper version of The Hardman Directory will be available at the end of the year. However, you can still access our current edition in the prison library.

How can Hardman Trust support you?

If you have served 10 years or more at the point of release, Hardman Trust can help you plan effectively and reach your educational, training, employment, or wellbeing goals.  We offer practical and financial support to turn your plans into reality. We provide grants for up to £1,500 to support your employment, education, training or wellbeing plans. For example, to finance HGV driver training, tools for construction, art materials or barbering equipment. Over the past year, we have received applications for various areas, including site manager courses, laptops for education, and personal training courses. We also have a pen-friend scheme available to anyone once sentenced.  We connect you with volunteers from the UK who can offer safe, non-judgemental friendships. Pen-friends provide a valuable connection to the outside world, offering hope, support, and a positive outlook throughout your sentence.
