At Ease on NPR
If you’ve spent any time in the armed forces, National Prison Radio’s At Ease is the show for you. Whether you’ve served 1 week or 20 years, regular or reservist, Army, Marines or Navy, At Ease is a series made with you in mind.
Back for its third series, At Ease presenter Rich has visited the lads at HMP Holme House Veterans Hub to share experiences. Rich served 7 years as a ‘Tankie’ then spent 7 years inside. Now released, Rich has returned to prison to sit down with the lads in Holme House to share stories of their time before, during and after the forces.
The series is full of music and experiences – we hear how and why they joined the forces in the first place, what their time in the forces was like, why they left, and what happened then.
You can listen to At Ease every Tuesday at midday and 6pm, starting Tuesday 3 January.
