Banks on Sentence 6th Edition
Review by Stanley Best. The now 6th Edition of this book has been eagerly awaited, not least by the Judges whose lot it is to pass sentence after a jury has returned a verdict of guilty. Defending and prosecuting Counsel, in their different spheres of activity and concern, will also find much to engage their attention since getting it right is now often a major reoccupation and any error is likely to end up in a visit to the Court of Appeal (Criminal Division).
