Want to shift your mood? Try some yoga
Yoga can help lift our spirits and can also help us feel closer to those we care about. Try these postures for yourself. Start by standing, lifting up the top of your head to lengthen your back; drawing shoulders down; arms hanging down by your sides. Take some deep breaths in and sigh as you breathe out… 5 times or more. Now try these postures swapping sides each time. Hold each for up to 5 steady breaths – but always stop if you are in pain or unwell.
