Now it’s too late
Having finally sat my Category D sift parole hearing whilst waiting for the decision from the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC), they have refused my fifth application for appeal against my conviction for murder under joint enterprise.
Dog will not eat dog, so the system won’t allow my plea bargain case precedent to be set. My tariff ends in July of this year, so I’ve now got just six months to decide if I’m really prepared to sign a release that keeps me as a convicted murderer.
No legal team will now take on my appeal because it would mean them having to prove that my defence team back in 2008 were corrupt. I have fought this like a lion for nearly 16 years, but I am now tired, 52 years old and disabled. Well done to the CCRC. Failed again.
