Banks on Sentence 5th Edition
Banks does not betray any opinion on sentencing. He gives you the facts and gives you them very ably. The 5th edition of his book, the latest, is a very useful addition to any prison library. Of course, you will have to get the next one too. Noises made by Kenneth Clarke, the new Justice Secretary, who is planning yet another Criminal Justice Bill, and the recently passed Coroners and Justice Act, means that the rate of change in sentencing isn’t going to be slowing down anytime soon.
